The vinyl reference has to do with the records, not the 60's trippy colors (but the decor has that trippy feel to it). The lighting was tough, just those small lights you see on the ceiling and two small windows (seen in shot #3). I did try a shot with my speedlite, but it wouldn't work because of the celaphane on the record jackets reflected badly.

I plan to go back and shoot some more because she hosts small local bands at her shop every couple weeks (I have no idea where she puts them, the place is tiny).
