Marko, rarely (or actually never before) have I seen one of your images that I think you missed the mark, but this is one of them (or the one).

From someone who worked years at industrial fab shops, I know what a cutting table and rig looks like. The elements I find wrong with this image, first it under exposed, even at the torch. I know this had to have been very difficult to shoot because the extreme brightness of the flame over powering the exposure of the rest of the image. Secondly, I would have liked to seen more of the torch.

The thing that mostly bothers me is something that most will not catch unless they have worked in this field, it is what are y'all doing to this poor piece of metal? I am sure it was just a piece of scrap they were using to cut so you can get a shot of it, but to me, this is killing the shot. Metalwork (like photography) is a very difficult art form and/or skill. I am not sure if this makes sense, its just not the torch but what the torch is doing matters. I like the cut piece of metal just above the torch, the one that looks like shark's teeth. If you would have captured that piece being cut, it would have worked.

The last thing, unless my eyes are going bad, the image is soft.

I hate to say it Marko, but this image is just not good, IMO. There are too many elements of this image that just don't work for me.
