Spheres

This is a discussion on Spheres within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; There isn't much room under the metal, so I stuck a wide angle in there for a little different look ...

    Default Spheres

There isn't much room under the metal, so I stuck a wide angle in there for a little different look at the spheres.

I use a piece of decorative metal that is 2' wide by 3' long. Placing a red gel on back of the metal and then covering that with a piece of white paper I shape the form of a tunnel in the long direction and lay that over the spheres that sit on black. Darken the room and hold a wescott ice light over the "tunnel" for the length of the exposure. This one was 13 seconds @ f/16 with the 16mm-35mm Nikkor f/4 lens. Focal length was 27mm wth a focal distance of about 10 inches. Shooting at iso 125.

Didn't mean to show two images. Maybe Marko could remove the bottom one so as to tidy it up a bit.
