    Default Glenside

Close to my home are a collection of century old buildings that used to be known as Glenside Hospital.

To quote Wikipedia "Glenside Hospital, as it was known from 1967, previously the Public Colonial Lunatic Asylum of South Australia, Parkside Lunatic Asylum and Parkside Mental Hospital, was a complex of buildings used as a psychiatric hospital in Glenside, South Australia".

The main building has heaps of character was renovated a while ago to become the home of the South Australian Film Corporation. Recently I have taken to exploring the grounds and found a few character buildings in various states of repair that I didnt know were there, or even accessible.

I think I have found a place for some new inspiration.

Here are a couple of recent shots. I am sure more will follow.

Thanks Lorey. To me the pigeon shot felt a bit "traditional European" (if that makes any sense at all). It is an amazing looking old building with a sad history, but is in a state of disrepair, and is calling out for renovation.

I'm more grabbed by the moment you captured in shot 2. Lovely framing and timing.
