    Default Window into Insanity

I haven’t been able to get these posted before now. My Pops had some surgery done on the fifteenth, and was released to come home a few days later. Everything was looking pretty good for a while, but then things went south and now he’s back in the hospital for what looks like more surgery.

There’s been little time for anything else since he was readmitted, but I needed to sit down and get my mind off of things for a bit. These are from an outing our club took back on the eighteenth of this month at the Babcock Building which is part of the old State Mental Asylum on Bull Street in Columbia, SC

Interesting. Funny the bit of arts and crafts left behind. I remember when they were all the rage, now it's a discard. Maybe a bit like the souls who once walked the halls of the Asylum. Broken minds, now discarded or as is often the case released to wander the streets homeless and alone. I like the color and shadows of the second picture. My condolences over you Dad's bad health, hope things go well for him.
