    Are these 'false' HDR what I mean is a single image used with the contrast and saturation pushed. The reason I wonder this is you don't have detail in the gravel that a true HDR image should give you. I do like the way you shot them.

    No I used Photomatrix taken with 3 images at +2/0/-2 EV Av setting.
    I didn't have the tripod handy at that shot as we just came across it so that might be what you are referring to Greg.
