    I found this last week in the suburb of New Westminster and thought I'd share. I thought centreing it worked here, or does it?

    I love this strange, surprising, and graphically interesting shot. To me, a perfect opportunity to break the rule of thirds, Kurt. I would try to crop a bit off the top if possible.

    Why crop it? Are the footprints and sandbar competing subjects? I can work on it today or tomorrow or even re-do it. Thank You.
    Edit: Oh I so wanted to get down there with it!

    I think they are, yes. For me, the simplicity of these nice earthy colors with just the object in the middle of the reflecting ripples would be ideal.
