    Yes well ... my comment on a coat of paint was actually more a symbolic/hint that it needs a full and utter restore

    I like lens flare also ... but only when it works for me. I certainly don't see flare and immediately turn off the photo.

    I don't really like the PS rendered flare here though. Mainly because it's so recognisable as such.

    Hey Mad, I agree PS flares are not the best but this old wreck was so dull and decayed I thought it needed a bit of colour and interest. I captured this decaying truck in an ancient oil field. I was a foot deep in water and only took a few snaps. Well take care - jimmy

    Mad, my feet were cold (freezing) and wet! The truck was in one of the deep ruts created by the drilling rigs in the blue clay. I just wanted to get back to my warm car. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! - jimmy
