"Refraction"

This is a discussion on "Refraction" within the Architecture & Man Made (cities, buildings, roads, objects & abstracts) forums, part of the Show your photo (Color) - Landscape & Nature (flowers, mountains, storms etc.) category; not sure if this should go here or what, but it is sorta abstract, and the bubble is man-made... mods, ...

    Default "Refraction"

not sure if this should go here or what, but it is sorta abstract, and the bubble is man-made... mods, you can move this if you think it would be better suited to a different forum... anyway, i was walking behind a young couple in a park, and the girl was blowing bubbles. one of them lit on this stalk of wild grass and didn't pop immediately. being in one of those "what happens if i do this?" moods, i scurried up as close as my 80-400 lens would focus - about 6 feet - and snapped off about 3 shots before the bubble burst. this was the best of the three, and is kinda my "signature" shot... and one of the few i've taken the trouble to register with the US copyright office...

It looks so real, I thought I saw the bubble moving on my screen.
