I'm not a big fan of wheel shots.... but I thought I'd share this one because I've never seen a wheel that uses wooden spokes with thick steel rims like this...

That is a really cool and interesting shot - Wooden spokes? WOW.

Was this wheel attached to a car? some type of chariot?

    thx for sharing

Nice shot, and very rare find to find an automobile rim with wooden spokes.

    thanks everyone....

as far as it's origin I'm unsure...

The wheel is attached to an axle, but the axle is attached to nothing... it's actually on the back 40 of my property...

It's most likely some kinda farm equipment as there is other farm stuff abandon back there...

Considering that it is much better than a snapshot, you should have posted it in one of the other forums.

meh....thanks but as a noob.. i just can't bring myself to exhibit shots for critique that include wheels, water droplets, common barns, most flowers, and bridges....

The world is saturated with these types of photos.

I will confess to having several hundred of each variation though... I'm not sure of the psychological reason that my brain instructs my arms to raise the camera and shoot every wheel or water droplet I see.... I think Marko has some psychology back ground.... Perhaps you could share with us why it is I have to shoot every old rotten barn I pass?
