This is the underside of the main bridge leading into Bobcaygeon ( the nearest town to me). 3 years ago the township declared it unsafe for use.I went to investigate this for myself as to why it has taken so long to rebuild. It seems that the levels of government could not agree as to when and price. Now it has been held up by some locals as to the design and height. This has hit hard to the pocketbooks of the business's who rely on tourism on this side of the bridge. Back in the day this area was a huge logging area and the bridge was of a swinging type for water traffic and the train ( the only 2 modes of transporting goods back then). Notice how they repaired the bridge previously!
