The Opera House

I spent a couple of days in Sydney last week at a conference. I was about 15min walk from the Darling Harbour. I had great plans of heading out at night to get some night shots(I even took my tripod), but a colleague twisted my arm in to going out for a few drinks..every night

I managed to duck out one lunch and grab some shots. Not the best lighting, and there was a lot barricading being erected for Jessica Watson's return.

Anyway, I got the idea for this compiliation from an artwork in the hotel room in which I stayed for a conference. There was a series of simiar backlit images framed separately.

You can see from these shots the arches are made from millions(literally according to Wikipedia) of Swedish tiles.
