    Default Breakfast at Charleys

I visited my favorite Saturday morning breakfast spot today. A very small place in a small town with great food, low prices and one waitress that stays pretty busy. a two egg omelet with ham and cheese and hash browns with 2 pieces of wheat toast is $5.50.

Thank you for taking time to view.

Looks like the kind of place where regulars meet every morning. I like the 2nd one best.

Thank you for viewing and commenting. I go there about once a month and yes, the same 6 or 8 men are at that center table every time I've been there.

Nice run...I'm liking the first shot. Funny how upon retirement it seems these breakfast clubs are formed?

The light in the restaurant is what really caught my eye here: the mixed light of the overhead fluorescents, the front windows and the lovely reflections from the glass cabinets make for great exposures. Sepia seems a great tone choice here as well. Thanks for sharing.

I certainly prefer number 1 in this set. If you don't mind a suggestion, please try using your editing software to straighten it out. It looks like everyone is going to roll off the left of the frame like they are in a boat or something. The light is wonderful and the subject is very interesting and I love your choice of B&W here.

Thanks Iggy. I have a real hard time keeping my shots straight. I didn't notice these were so far off. I did straighten one in PS and I could see the difference. Wish I would have noticed it before I gave the owners 5X7 prints.. but they didn't notice it either. They were really happy and surprised when I gave them the prints. Said they were going to put them in frames and put them up in the glass showcase you see in the pics. Always appreciate your input.
