Lighthouse

This is a discussion on Lighthouse within the Black and White - Monochrome/Monotone - photography forum forums, part of the Photography & Fine art photography category; I was going through some old pictures and I kind of liked this one from 2012...

It is fun to go back through old photos looking at them with afresh perspective.

I like this shot with the leading lines, with the guys on the right adding a balancing element.

Although I appreciate this photo, I am keen to see some shots with that big new zoom you have
I welcome all critique and comments on any of my photos

I also dig the lines - and overall comp.
If this were mine, I might make the shadows on the ground a bit darker and pull back on the exposure in the sky.
The PP has muddied the tones in the sky - This could sing louder with additional PP play. Except for the railing, I see no true whites for example.
    hope that may help.

Marko - Thanks for your comments. Pic was a bit overexposed, so it took some PP to get it this far. I'll try your suggestions to see if I can get it better.

Runmonty - I'm a little embarrassed that I hadn't gotten out to to try out the new lens. This past week I've managed to get out a couple of times and I will post a couple of pics of a blue heron.
