    I would expect it is not as if he spends his own hard-earned on the equipment though.

    Actually I have a feeling that I heard last year he was done with DSLR and had moved to micro 4/3. Could be the wrong celebrity photographer podcaster I am thinking of though.

    I never used a Nikon but I think Mr Kelby is exaggerating a bit. Anyway, switching brands, models or spending lots of $$$$$ wont make anyone better photographer ;(

    People switch for different reasons.

    I'm a Nikon shooter but my first digital camera was a Canon because I felt at the time it delivered superior performance to the Nikon in the same class.

    Now I'm back to Nikon.
    Every model of camera will have strengths and weaknesses. The ergonomics of a camera may be one of those differences as might be any number of factors like...the autofocus of the camera, what lenses are available for that camera, GPS/wifi, resolution etc.
