    Yes, your camera will adjust flash output to get a proper exposure. At the same time, the camera will try to keep your shutter speeds above the minimum speed necessary to avoid camera shake for the lens, and under the max sync speed of the camera, wherever possible.

    There is a configuration where you can set the slowest speed, it looks you were shooting at night, or dark area, and the setting is when you use flash the slowest speed the camera will accept is 1/60 (it can be changed on your menu), the flash will compensate the lack of light when possible or if you are using auto iso, the iso will also compensate.
