Have any gear storage tips?
I started putting my lens caps and body caps in plastic bags to keep the dust off them. But I'm pretty sure this is a bad idea for the lens or body (especially in humid environments) if you are concerned about moisture. Maybe tossing a few (dozen) bags of silica gel in there would help.
Anyway, how do you store your gear when you're not using it? Is removing an um... slightly heavy (19 oz) telephoto lens a good idea to protect the lens mount?
