I'm really pleased with this shot; I think the contradictions, at least as seen through Western eyes, really define India. You have a man wearing a burlap bag as his only garment, leaning against a brick wall behind which are several nice cars, and reading an English-language magazine.

    All of that aside, comments/critique/thoughts?

incredible..... same with the show your photo entries.... what a filthy environment... I love the lady casually sitting sideways on the motorcycle with no helmet and material from her outfit dangling around the rear wheel..

this shot here is great too.... the only thing that bothers me is I don't like him right of center facing out of the frame. IMO I'd prefer him left of center facing right. Then again there is good colour in the yellow sign and I like how the diagonal wall kind of leads you to him. I dunno, it was the first thing that came to mind when I saw the image.

Wonder what was in his sack? A laptop maybe?

Thanks. Not sure about the sack, not sure I want to know. Yeah, I'm not 100% happy with the composition either, but it's not really an environment where you have the oppportunity for careful planning. The area frame right had an old ugly table against the wall, which is why chose to crop it the way I did.
