    Default Secret Passage

Another one from Kingston - while walking around I noticed all these people ducking into an alley off of a main street. I followed them and found this neat little alleyway into a court yard.

Interesting capture and the textures are very nice. I hope you don't mind me saying but I wish the wall wasn't quite so tilted though.

    Hi Greg_R,

There's something missing for me. For me it needs a subject as the walls are too overpowering. I would have gone complete b&w monochrome on this rather than sepia if I was just focussing on the architecture. Having said all that I do like the texture of the stones.

    Regards,
    NorthStone

Thanks NorthStone. I appreciate your honesty and will try the b&w.

    Cheers!

It has a decent overall graphic quality that I feel would be better expressed in pure BW - I agree with Greg R here.
This could also use some DB play (dodge/burn) to guide the viewer's eye a bit more.

I like it! Maybe just a wee bit too much light on the right wall ... yeah, give the dodge/burn thing a try
