    Awwwwwww I've never seen a baby Oyster Catcher before. Love the little orange tip on his beak ... or is that what he's picked up?

    Sharpness is the main thing for critique I think. A bit of flash might have helped to fill the shadows also. Mind you ... I wouldn't have my flash out in the rain.

    The sharpness that MA points out and that little twig behind the chick. Those are the only issues I see with this otherwise excellent image. Well done.

    Boy ! You nailed it with that comment! When I was learning digital this and digital that, i was soooooo overwhelmed.

    The best advice, is keep shooting and submitting for critique then use what you learn next go around, if applicable. Also, read through the critique thread and see what others have brought to the table. There are critiques all through the entire forum too. You have shown a good eye for what captures one's heart! Keep up the good work!
