Default Old Church w/ gray sky

This is a two hundred year old church near my house. It was very rainy and cloudy. How can I get the sky more attractive?

I did do a layer mask and spray painted the sky and then lowered the opacity

Ya looking at it now and trying to put at sun set would be hard. Was not thinking that you would also need to change the tone of the church. Do you use nik soft? Just thinking you could try it in there hdr program and you might be able to pull some of the textures out of the clouds. Might even be able to do in it light room 4 with the new brush tools.

OK, I took a short tutorial on texturing in GIMP and made this. I REALLY like how it came out
