Neat image. I think I'd prefer to see less of the soft foreground and perhaps level the "horizon" formed by the unfocused foreground.

Love the sharpness and focus on the droplets, beautiful image. Can't exactly see what the iamge is, are the droplets on a petal of a flower?

Well ... I don't know what it is ... dishwashing liquid perhaps ... but I like it. More of those bubbles might have strengthened it a tad but it's very uniqueness and the two colours working so well together is enough for me to enjoy it as is.

Did not realized this is kinda puzzle...

This is a 8:1 magnification being further crop to keep only what could be the subject. Initially, we could recgonized the Iris supporting the droplets. The background is another flower.

By the way, Marko, looking into it I too remember the old Lavande Bubble Bath liquid my mother used to put in my bath 40 years ago. The warm feeling I get from the shot is probably due to that. The color is really similar.

The light source are fluorescents perpendicular to the view point. This is what is creating the white inverted smile in the buble. I thought too about "straitening" the shot, this skewed the inverted smile and I did not like it as much.

Based on your comments I started to realized that most of my shot are really too busy. I started a process with some of them, to crop until I find a simpler subect in a kinda "mise en scène". This is one of these.

Hmmm - I like the shot's colour the most.
I agree with T.I , the foreground is too soft here and takes over more than half the image. The bubbles here are competing with one another for my attention. In particular the central bubble and the one at top left. The other main bubble toward mid right edge is a distraction for me. It is still to busy for me. Hope that helps - Marko

I'm just wondering how much you are cropping? I did that a while back and now I have images I couldn't use because I cropped funny or too small. Not saying you are doing this but from past experience, I guess I just wanted to say that if possible..try to get your full image the way you'd like it..less cropping is better IMHO.

Using Lightroom. This means that I never touch the original. After reviewing the original it is cropped to about 50% of it's original size.

I guess what I meant is you may end up with your crop, love it, but not being able to print it to a big size. That was my mistake. I would fall in love with a photo and not be able to produce it in the size I would want it.
