Another try to catch a moving object - it is not my best skill.

There’s very good detail in the head, face, and brisket with the tail and legs still giving a strong sense of motion. I like the image a lot, but might have liked it even more with a little darker background in the upper portions of the image.

I agree; it is a nice image, but I think a different shooting position would have made it even better. Positioning yourself for a 3/4 profile rather than a full profile would have, I think, given a little more interest.

Thanks for looking and commenting :-). This dog was one of many puppies in the dog club, where my sister is training the “puppie course”. I catched the picture during a little test for the puppie`s binding (obligation?) to their owners. It was funny to watch the little ones, if they would follow the call of theirs master’s at the other side of the training place. Some dawdling and other really eager – like this black one.

About another angle for shooting this photo ;-): It wasn’t easy to kneel down among all the little dogs. Once you do, most of them are “attacking” you, because they want to play with you and your camera :-). So I always have had to look for my “model” and the “attackers” on the other side – there wasn’t much time to think about the quite right angle!
