Yes..she's my cutie pie but I need some help on this. My eyes are just going wonky lately and I'm having a hard time with the brightness/darkness of a photo. Think I have to move the computer to a better spot..

I see a spot on her dress but want to here the rest before I go into pp.

    Thanks
    Kat

actually, i see two. one looks like serger thread off of her ruffled strap onto her chest... the other is the flower ornamentation - i would make that a wee bit darker to see the detail.. hope i have been helpful!

So you are asking what we'd do to this photo if it were ours?

I find the face a bit bright so I'd try to lower the exposure on that.

Eyes and hair near face to be a bit sharper.

Clone out the hair that sits by her right shoulder and that piece of material TT mentioned. Maybe also the mark on her right shoulder if it's a pimple and not a natural mole/beautymark. I'd also clone out that bit of hair that sticking up too high on top of her head as well.

    I think that's about it.

Just realized I have a sepia hint going on now..must of pressed the wrong thing along the way..lol...

Do the eyes look to sharpened? I'm not to sure on unsharp mask..had it at 100%, 1.8 and 0 for settings. Never know when it's too much sometimes.

It looks great to me Kat. You didn't clone out the hair by her neck/right shoulder but that's a personal preference anyhow. Good job on the rest!

I like the density..Like the slight sepia. I would try to remove the stray hairs on her chest. The patch tool is your friend for that Just make sure you can make a clean selection with no hair touching the patch tool selection. If that makes sense *L*

    I love it..Well done

My mistake has been seeking new landscapes. I should have been seeking new light.

Okay. Last shot at it for me. I've never used the patch tool before. Wow..different!

I just get worried about the shading..

Nothing wrong with the shading in my book. I know some people shy away from darker images but I think if they are done well they are great.

That last effort definitely is exactly how I would made it look Kat. Great job.
