Here is a picture I took today as the first snow fall of the season came to VA. Any advice would be appreciated.

I like it. The composition of the path in the image is perfect.

yes it definitely has a mood to it. I like the B&W.

A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
My advice is be prepaired. When we get snow I make sure we have lots of Bailey's Irish Cream to put in the hot chocolat. We needed in Calgary this weekend.
I like this photo. Good composition, nice angle on the pathway.
I'm hoping we can help you by critiquing your photos but not this one. Good composition, good exposure, good post processing. I'd just be happy with it if I were you
I agree the composition is very good indeed. The leading line of the path and the person ... all very well used.
What I can't quite figure out is if this has been processed to be an image (no longer a pure photo due to processing filters etc) or it has been sharpened too much. I can see what appear to be sharpening artifacts in the branches and around the person.
I don't agree that the exposure was good though. It appears to be a bit overexposed I think.
My conclusion, from what I can see here, is that the photo wasn't quite what you'd hoped so you applied a filter/processing to save it and came up with a nice image.
