    Default Tired Balloons

I found these rather tired looking balloons caught up on a tree while snow shoeing in the woods. No doubt they have seen better times.

    Hi Travis,

I think this shot had a lot of potential and if the balloons are still there I'd love to see some more dramatic shots with interesting angles. The balloons are the most important element, so if this were my shot I would have tried to get much closer preferably with a zoom to get the balloons bigger in the frame.

The background as it is now has branches running through the balloon which is distracting. By repositioning your angle, you could have chosen solid green leaves as the background which would have made the balloons 'pop' way more. In general, the leaves in trees make good backgrounds. The colour on the balloons also seems a bit oversaturated - Is that flash on the balloons?

    Hope that helps,

    Marko

I would have even considered getting more under the ballons and shooting up toward where they were caught in the branch or the tree.
