I just can't seem to stop taking pictures of rocks these days.
Anyway, I liked this one, but opinions other then mine are always welcome.

Good crop, Bambi. It's a nice shot because of the loose stones. I like it.

Well there's nothing wrong with it, and you've found some nice textures in there, butI find myself struggling to find a strong focal point, a definitive subject. I guess in this case it's the entire rock collection but, for me personally, there's nothing there specifically holding my interest.

Looks like it might be HDR due to the sky colour variance. I think I'd have dodged that dark bit of sky to even it up.

Hi Bambi, I think I'm with MA on this one, well there is nothing wrong with it, for me it lacks the key focal point, the thing that say's I took this shot because......


Still It is very pretty, I think I would try a more panoramic style crop just to see what that looks like.. but I'm just guessing now...

okay thanks guys. I agree with the lack of focal point, I just loved all of it. Which is the problem I guess. When I go back I may just focus in on one of the round stones in the middle.

Yes! In this one, the group of small rocks becomes the focal point. The first attempt seemed to be neither close enough or far away enough.
