    Default Curves reshoot

I am having some trouble getting this shot right. I first took this one and posted and today did a reshoot and this was the result.
It is really hard because there is a lot of buildings around and it's near impossible to get a shot of just the structure unless I cut it off....but I love how it snakes alone.. I realy like it and I thought there was potoential but now not so sure....let me know your thoughts on this one please.... should have another go at it or just write it off.

Hmmm tough. The flowing nature is appealing but those buildings do spoilt it.

Your first attempt has a simplicity/minimalism to it that works well. Whether there is a view in between these two shots that will work I can't say.

However, you really have two choices as far as I can see ... the one you achieved in shot 1 (possibly other shots available in this style as well) and, as I've mentioned to you before, if you can't exclude the distractions then make them part of the photo in some way. Make them belong.

Not that I feel qualified to critique anyone's photos, but personally I like the second shot better because there's more context, more ambiguity too. Like "what the heck is it?" that makes me examine it more closely. And then I say to myself "so what else is there that I can't see?" I do talk to myself sometimes. LOL
