Trying to understand the complexities of the Google algorithm can make your head spin. I can make suggestions like sites that are linked to by other sites with a higher page rank are scanned more often as they are seen as more important. And for images it not only looks at the images but it also looks at the words that are on the page next to the images (not just the filename) plus it probably looks at EXIF info if it exists.

We had a big talk about what to do about Google. I would seem that text entered within Java Script is missed which for me is a problem as 90% of text is in the Java Script so it matches the images giving a presentation rather than a page requiring the user to scroll down the page. However the parent website is full of text so relying on people finding pictures from parent site.
One surprise was the pull down menu. Made as a list using CSS to tuck it into the header I found Google was listing all said in the pull down menu. So hunt for "Primitive Plant Forms" and it listed every page as that was a header in pull-down menu.
So idea is to have Free the Forest Home Page and Natural Forest Practice - HOME the two main websites cross linked. However I run the Free the Forest Home Page but another guy runs the Natural Forest Practice - HOME and he seems rather slow in uploading info on to his site so at moment all one way.
