so it's the same as the d700... such a simple tweak it would be for them...and would make the lives of photographers worldwide so much easier. this is a stupid BURDEN for no reason.
sometimes i just don't get a giant company's logic when it comes to software design....photographers need separate filenames or all hell breaks loose.... so every 10,000 frames is a hassle...and this may happen 10-20 times or more during the life of the camera. silly nikon... let the count run to a million not 9999...and then reset. what is this Y2K again? silly nikon.
