Marko...these are just fantastic....both threads. Amazing to see all the different ice shapes!
I particularly love shot one in this set. Wow....incredible landscape shot..

You continue to amaze me, Marko. What a great set. I especially like the black and white duo, and out of those the ice disks are just fabulous. You are truly blessed with a great eye, Marko. Shot 1, the yellow ice, is also incredible, from a tonal point of view and from a composition point of view. Love how the calm play of the water under the ice contrasts with the excitement in the yellowish sky. Superbly done. Have you considered putting on guided tours?
~~ Rule of thirds is for whimps ~~I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 67° water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?
Hey thanks so much for the comments bambi, casil matt.K Jas and MA!
I must say that I just love the Rockies! It's such a pleasure not to have to deal with phone lines and other distractions. This really allowed me to zero in on compositions which i found everywhere. Lines and curves just screamed at me from all directions. Matt, I have indeed been thinking about photo tours - thanks for the suggestion and additional encouragement!
