    That sculpture is cool. With the right setting/background this is going to be amazing.

    I agree the sculpture is cool - left side of bkgd is seriously clipped though.

    Thanks. More importantly, the right side of the background isn't clipped! I was trying to blow out the background and light the subject with only one flash and a lamp. Couldn't quite make it work. More practice required.

    Ahh - In that case...as always pull the subject away from the background ( like 5-6 ) feet so you have room to practice your lighting work on just the background.
    In this case, the flash should have been able to blow out the bkgd completely and the lamp (if strong enough) should have been able to light the subject.
