Ok, I'll jump in- Bambi's post reminded me that I wanted to photograph the sad looking trio still at the top of the driveway. (Can we only submit one? I love "ugly"!)

Cool addition, celksy. You can submit as many as your little heart desires.

Rust and graffitti-covered abandoned rail bridges might be an eyesore for some, but they can be very nice subjects for photo shoots. The Prince of Wales Bridge (named for Queen Victoria's son who later became King Edward VII - he is Queen Elizabeth's great grandfather) is near downtown Ottawa and spans the Ottawa River to Gatineau, Quebec.

    Default Grear

Not sure how far off I am on this one but I think its cool, just a gear from a old Chevy transmission.

    Great stuff so far.

Here's mine. Any other time this is just a boring road into a pasture. The fog was just right on this morning with the sun coming up that I had to stop and enjoy it for a few.

I'm here to learn so comments, critiques and complaints are always welcome!

It may just be me, but I think Celksy is the only one that has really captured the true assignment so far.

Doug L's second image ofthe two rivets may meet the bill.

Lizard, your image of the fog and moss covered oak is simply beautiful, and I find it hard that this shot would ever be "ugly".

Grear, your gear is great but I don't see ugliness in something like the gear. The repeating lines, symetry, and chrome makes it a beautiful sculture in itself.

These are all my opinions of course. They are all great shots (especially yours Lizard and Doug), but I feel the are missing the assignment.

Bambi's shot is on target but I feel it falls just short.
