I chew coffee beans with my teeth while gargling with 67° water to enjoy coffee. What is this "coffee brewing" device you speak of?

Very nice detail, you can see down to the smallest specks of dust.

I have a Nikon D5000 .. not the most expensive camera, and this was shot with the 150mm Sigma Macro lens.

    Default Messy Drop Shot

So I tried shooting a drop of water hitting a water surface .... boy oh boy, much to learn. So I suppose your glass should be absolutely CLEAN, no fingerprints, no droplets, no nothing on it .. and maybe there should be a bit of colour, or an ice cube, or SOMETHING, and maybe one should have the water real CALM and CENTER the freaking drop ...and and and .... but here it is, anyways ... I do like the bottom of the glass though, nice silvery effect.
