Hey,

Im not a photographer at all but would like to hear from you guys on this one:
I have a myspace page for my small music project, its an instrumental, very ambient,
artistic sort of project. basically i would like to collarorate with some artists to give the page visually the same experience the music does,
so i was wondering if anybody wants to collaborate or donate any artistic works for the cause.

it would also be great having somebody else on board giving their thoughts on the music too, anyway drop by the page:

and show me artistically what you see, feel free to leave comments and add me if you have myspace too.
one more thing, theres no profit involved, this is purely an artistic thing and i hope everyone can benefit from it.

Any thread that has zero to do with photography is spam and should be reported with the report a thread icon (triangular icon at the top right of every post)

It's one thing if a member that hangs out here posts this...no problem.

But any new member whose first post is...come see my site..is a spammer and they WILL be banned and deleted.

So I know you are really friendly and I like that but...spammers suck and eat up tons of time so spammers are NOT welcome here.

well, i was actually banned from this forum for that one which upsets me deeply.

people are so quick to judge and say 'thats spam' just because it has a link in it.

TT, you are not naive; actually looking past something to see its real value is something that a lot of people lack in this day and age.

i simply thought a forum would be a good place to find fellow artists to collaborate with, i am not a photographer (otherwise i would of been a regular poster) but i appreciate the artistic value in some of the amazing photography that i see in the galleries in my city, some it truly inspires me.

i agree with the moderator that it did look like spam, but theres no gain for anyone here, i simply do it to be creative and sort of spiritual in a way, if i wanted to gain website hits a photography forum wouldn't be the place to do it. i just came here and hoped that i could be artistic with someone.

anyway, i copped a life time ban when i was just trying to expand my artistic horizons.

No I'm sorry, I 100% disagree - the ban was well placed, and you'll find that other forums will react the same way.

I've been running forums daily now for 8 years

This forum is a community. If you are new to ANY community you don't come in saying Hi check out my my completely unrelated site.

That's spam. Maybe you don't CONSIDER yourself a spammer, but your technique is spammy and no forum admin has the patience to tolerate spammers or pseudo-spammers. Spam on the net is INSANELY out of control and if you think you are going to find sympathy/support/friendliness with your technique, you are sadly mistaken OR a complete newbie. (In which case you are still learning something valuable)

It's the same thing as interrupting my dinner with a call to buy crap I don't want. Same thing.
