In Contemplation of the Microscape

So I don't usually wax all philosophical on my blog. Nor do I try to define a lot of what I do, but lately the concept of the microscape has been rolling around in my head and I wrote a blog post about it. Mostly to solidify what I want to do, but also to start to point my blog in a new direction. I figured most of the regulars here would understand, so here it is.
