    Default Portfolio site

This is possibly in the wrong forum

I was wondering what you fine people thought of a new portfolio/blog site I have been tinkering with this week.

Sharp Wide Open | an ordinary guy's views on photography

Any comments or suggestions gratefully received!

NB I haven't uploaded very many photos yet, and the ones that are there are coming from Flickr so they are the wrong size and losing some sharpness during the on-site resizing. I'm still looking at ways to get a full-screen zoom on the large version of the photos.

i like it Tim, it looks very clean and well laid out. At the moment it looks like you have holding pages or dead links up but I have bookmarked and will return. Some great links there also

Thanks for the comments guys. I hope there are no dead links there - was it the 'Inspiration' link that timed out on you Brendan? I'm guessing it probably was, it's because it periodically has to refresh the data feeds which takes several seconds, so if you're unlucky and hit that page when it's due a refresh it can be very slow to load. I'll have to try and improve the caching on that page.

Nice clean site, poked around some and found no dead links and everything seems to run great.
