    Default Heading backwards!!!

Some one just gave me this. I am super excited. I have not done film in 20+ years and have no clue how to do it again. Now I have to buy a film camera and lens, plus other things for a darkroom

I think I am more excited about all this stuff more then my new camera that came in yesterday.

The person that gave me the enlarger, she called me to come get more stuff because it would not fit into the moving van. I am talking trays, easel, focus finder, and boxes and boxes of professional grade paper (11x14's, 8x10's,etc).

One question, does paper expire? I cannot find an expiration date. A few of the boxes have 2007 and 2008dates on them. This is just copyright dates, so I know the paper is not older then that. There are two unopened boxes that are $200 a box at B&H.

BTW here is the website of the girl that gave me all this stuff. She is an amazing photographer (NSFW - boudoir photography) http://www.breathlessboudoir.com/

    sick deal AT!

Lots of factors go into how long that paper will last. RC paper will last longer than Fibre.
Heat is the most important....so it depends on how it was stored...but I have used way old papers in the past and they worked.... I'd definitely try the papers.

200.box? That's good paper unless the price has exploded over the years due to lack of demand- what kind is it?

Take that back, there are two boxes at $100+ a box, (Ilford fiber), plus fujifilm supra color and Kodak Professional. Can color paper be used as B&W, or does it not develop in the developer?

I can see you are going to have a lot of fun with this. I used to shoot film many years ago, but never really got into the processing side.
