Photography swap

Today, my husband and his air brush forum posted up their photos of panels they painted for their panel swap. Names are drawn..and panels are sent to the person who ended up getting your name. They had a blast doing it..and after three years it will continue again next year.

I thought..maybe this could be an idea for us here (of course, only those interested in doing it). Photo swap!

You mean getting a photo printed ... say at A4 (12 x 8 - ish) and then posting it?

I think she means put our names in a "hat". Print and possibly frame a photo and send it through the mail to the person who gets the lucky draw.

No. I mean..well.

We would decide on a closing date (theme if need be). At the end time line everyone would post their photo to be swapped. Names are drawn. So lets say I got your name..then I would get your photo (whatever size we agreed upon before we start the swap) in the mail. And who ever got my name I would send to them..so on and so on.

Basically we would be getting a photo from someone in this forum.

Sounds little silly but I know they love it on the airbrush forum.

Ha ha..that is funny. You got it on the head with that! I wouldn't say frame as that would cost a bit of money to send but.. yah..that is the idea!

I think the difference is that in Canada we "mail" something. In Australia you "post" something. And, of course, on the forum we "post" things. Darn English!
