    holy crap - im so excited! i just got my bday present (today - 27) and its a nikon D80 & the 18-200mm VR lens! woot! cant wait to get out & take some pics! stay tuned... lol!

    yay! thanks! im hoping to get at least 50 years or so outta it - to off set the cost! im going to have to spend some serious quality time with it and the handbook and the dvd to try and figure out how to use it. i feel like ive never taken a picture before - it all seems so new! i dont even know how to get the display monitor on! haha! maybe after the 1st decade...

    WOW!!! That is awesome news...... I think you squeezed everything you could outta that old digicam.... lol...

    I remember feeling sorry for you when someone was looking at one of your landscape shots and telling you to use f11.... haha... not any longer!!!
