    Default Hi There!

    Hey everyone.

I just bought a Canon Powershot SX130iS and am in need of some pointers. I've taken photos my entire life, but have just recently branched out into "artistic" photography. I know the camera isn't ideal, but unfortunately money was a huge factor.

I took a photography course in college about 6 years ago and in the interim have forgotten just about everything I was taught!

    See you on the boards

Welcome to the forum, PapaSmurf. Photography is less about the gear than the resulting image. That SX130 will give you a lot of control and let you take some wonderful images. Hopefully, we can help remind you of all the things you've forgotten

    Cheers!
