    Welcome to photography.ca, Heather.

The camera you use is immaterial to the artistry you create. I look forward to seeing some of your work and I hope you enjoy your stay with us.

I started posting with an Olympus 550UZ. Not quite a point and shoot, but not even an entry level DSLR. Before that I was using an old Powershot A10. Mostly, I found I had to work within the limits of the camera, and that led to some pictures I hadn't expected. So bring 'em on and let us see them! And welcome.

I just signed up to this forum as a school project, and because I love photography. I consider myself to be an amateur and hopefully one day I will have the courage to share some of my pictures.

Put 'em up. I'm sure as heck not a pro, or even an advanced amateur. I'll get to see what you've found around you, and I might even comment on details you hadn't considered before. Everyone wins.
