Hi, Paul, welcome. To the list of questions I'll add what do you like to shoot?

Default Thanks for the warm welcome

My love of photography dates back to high school were putting my perspective on how i saw the world around me was very exciting .
Now I want to take walks in the woods and capture what I see and bring it back to share with others.
I am torn between the Nikon D90 or the D5000 both kits come with the same 18-55 and 55-200 lenses.
but I am thinking of saving the 200 over the D90 and buying the Nikon AF-S 35mm f/1.8 G DX Nikkor Lens. Paul

Welcome to the forum, Paul. Can't wait to see what you are up to now. I have a Canon point and shoot and you can do a lot of nice things with it.

    Default Hi again

OK I picked up a Nikon D-5000 this weekend and I am amazed how easy it is to use right out of the box. Paul
