Very nice detail, you can see down to the smallest specks of dust.
Nice start Matt. K!
I wish I had a camera/lens capable of that!
Very nice capture, Matt!
To the MOON!

I'da called it "enema, anyone?" Nice shot, Michael ...
So I tried shooting a drop of water hitting a water surface .... boy oh boy, much to learn. So I suppose your glass should be absolutely CLEAN, no fingerprints, no droplets, no nothing on it .. and maybe there should be a bit of colour, or an ice cube, or SOMETHING, and maybe one should have the water real CALM and CENTER the freaking drop ...and and and .... but here it is, anyways ... I do like the bottom of the glass though, nice silvery effect.

Left my close-up lenses at work :(, so this is about as close as I can go.
nice shots everyone!
Cin Cin on her playstand. She had a real nice natural light from the window lighting her. Not a macro but it is a close up. :)

gorgeous, just gorgeous ...
superb feather detail. terrific portrait.
Thanks, Wicked D and Matt!
Cool set of macros, dbates! Nice :)
Very cool shots.
While my type of macro photography is not quite as dramatic, I do like taking photos of small stuff with my other hobby of building scale models. This is the back end of a Panzer IV tank. The fuel cans are about as big as your thumbnail to give a bit of reference.

Popcorn anyone?

Really nice additions!
Cool model there Lizardqing, really dig the play and time investment.
Good popcorn reflections Iggy!
Normally I do a lot of close up or macro, but not lately. This one from Tuesday is about the only one -

I think it was a good winter for trees, so many of the birches are busting their britches this way.
Woah! Very nice shot!

I love the tones and details of this shot Iggy. well done
Great shots here from you all! Matt's drop makes me thirsty and Iguanasan's popcorn makes me hungry.
I am just sending some taste of spring:

Hey all! I see alot of very nice/creative shots in here this month. I don't have a macro lense so I went out on the deck with my 50mm and had a go at snowflakes landing on the BBQ. I put them thru LR3 and came up with this one. Hope you like!
Very cool, aubintbay. What a very awesome capture of some snow flakes. Around here they're mostly just mush, I've never been able to get a decent shot like this.
This shell was so tiny and fragile. I loved how it was nestled in the rock

Cool shot, Bambi... I like the way the grass or twig leads your eye across the screen right into the shell.
Macro of a Westcoast Slug....kind of neat little creatures.

It might have been my mention of egg salad sandwiches later that made these three bolt during an "Easter themed" photo shoot.
