OK, I will get this one started as well. I went on a long photo safari today (the backyard), and practiced some semi-macro (I need a macro lens). This is as close to macro as I can get with the equipment I currently have.

I was looking for a bug or two to shoot, but with the tropical storm that is about to hit right here in the next couple days, there were none to be found, only a camera shy lizard.

A macro lens on the wasp nest would have been great, looking down into the combs

Ha, ha, that's funny, and common sense. Thanks for the comment.

    Default Cin Cin

I tried to get a close up of her face with an old manual Nikon 105 micro lens. Not that easy to do. She moves around constantly. The only way to try and do it was to slightly rock back and forth a bit to find a focus and at the last second she turned her head upside down. What a little clown!! If you are one of those that looks at exif data, I have two non cpu lens and I forgot to switch to the 105 when I put it on the camera. So exif says 8mm. Don't believe it.
