May 2012 - Texture

Hi members,

The level 2 assignment this month is texture.
(Just as an FYI, one of the best types of light to achieve texture is sidelight.)

Interesting... reminds me of coral under the sea... even has a blue colour to it. Neat.

Deep into evening twilight, I took a time exposure of these sheer curtains from inside the darkened room. During the exposure, I fired a flash unit which was covered by a red plastic cup (finally thinking of some ideas from last month's assignment, too) , and this was held off to one side.
