Default Admin will post more this year

Not sure many people care but I received an email recently asking me to post more pics and asking why i don't post that much personally on a board that i run. (a straight up question for sure).

Truth be told i have been working on a new portfolio for a few months now and I'm also working on a new site to feature that new work and past work.

For the last bunch of years I have let my own personal work slide....in favour of developing this and other website. And all that is going to change in 2012.
Life is short; I lost a dear cousin about 2 months ago and he was only 44. His sudden and completely unexpected passing has affected me at the deepest level.

Life is too short to NOT be doing what you love to be doing and I love to shoot (and teach). I have been shooting multiple times a week for a few months now and I hope to continue it even through our harsh winter.

Soooo... fairly soon you'll start seeing more work from me.... both new and older never posted stuff.

Thanks so much for posting all your work around here everyone! Looking at the new pics people have posted is ALWAYS the highlight of my day.

Marko..first, I am so sorry for your loss..heart breaking...(my late husband passed right after his 43rd birthday during his morning run)...my heart aches for you....

Next...I would love to see a"category"of your work only, here on the forum...not mixed in with ours...that way, it is easy access to those of us who do have a keen interest in what you do......personally I can't wait to see your new website!!!

    Hugs,

    Susan

I echo susan's sentiments and look forward to seeing more of your photographs. I have run into a similar problem in the karate world. I spend so much time teaching and organizing that I have little time left over for training. Maybe I'll dedicate more time to training this year... but I have to balance with the photography... I can't give up my photography!

I am sorry for you loss marko. Life is too short. This year has been a big one for me in realizing who and what I am. Where I want to be.

Photography is a joy. It is something that I love and will be remembered for from my kids and family. I too made a personal pack to shoot more. To show more. Why not show all the photos that is who I am?

I am looking forward to seeing your work! Oh..and side note. Thanks for the hard work you put into this site. I know it's not the only one and it's always appreciated.

    Marko,

I am so sorry to hear of your sudden loss. I, too, have lost people unexpectedly and I know how it pierces the heart. Susan, I say this to you also.

I haven't been coming to the forum for very long, but it has seemed to me that you are quite active here and respond to many posts; mine included!

Great to hear we will see more 'Marko' in terms of your work

Sad to hear of your cousin. I dread the day when I will face this also with my brother before he's 44 most likely.

Life is short and we need to make the most of it when we can. For the past two months I've been struck down with bowel issues. Multiple blood tests and scans to date are slowly eliminating culprits. They are looking for Hepatitis now as my liver is showing signs of problems as well. It may all work out to be something simple, on the other hand, maybe not. Either way we need not assume we will live forever, or our quality of life will always remain the same, and get out there and enjoy the things we love.

Wonderful the here Marko and I completely understand. I think my work in 2011 was about a 1/3 if not less than I was shooting and I love it too much to let is slide but it does happen and so looking forward to seeing your new work and work you have done prior that I may have missed. Next week time for me to actually start redoing myself that I had promised myself to do last year and another thing that fell to the wayside.
