    Default Monitor/Display Size

I wonder if we could get a poll started to see what the average size of monitor/display the members here are using most of the time so we might get a better idea of how large we can show our photos and not have so many of us scrolling around to see the whole thing. For three months out of the year I seldom crack my laptop open and do everything on a 27 inch iMac. That's a pretty good bit of real estate so I'm ok with up to 1050px on the long side on it. The other nine months of the year I use nothing but the laptop and have to walk into a chain store to remember what the Mac looks like. During that time, 800px on the long side works better.

I don't like scrolling around any more than the next person, but at the same time I like to show as large as I can. What do you guys think?

I'm using a 27 inch LED Mac which is just a tad smaller than the combined size of the dual monitors I used to run on the PC.

I upload at 800 px on the long side ... I figure that's big enough to show how good/bad the photo is without allowing something too high in res for any thief to nick off with.

It's not the size of the dick that does the trick ... it's the throb of the knob that does the job

I was vacillating towards the iMac 27", but did not like the highly reflective screen, so I bought a Dell Ultrasharp 27" with the same resolution. Love that thing.

Doin the HP 25" 1920x1080 my end with an HP 22" 1920x1080 for tools. When I did the 27" imac...Well, It didn't work so well. The HP has a good chunk of real estate and a really nice resolution for a third of the coin.

I have an Acer X223W, it's a 23", with 1600x1050 resolution, but I've been looking around lately for a new monitor, if I could, I'd get a 27" :( I should get a MacBook Pro this week, lend to me, I may do a bit of work on it to see.
