Default Trek to the South Pole

I heard about this a week or so ago and have started to follow it daily. This group is headed for the south pole and keeping a daily blog on the trip. The first I heard was on the local news as there is a Thunder Bay fellow in the group. Not sure if I have the link right here....have'nt tried this before. The site is testyourlimits.ca

We had a speaker with pictures on his Antarctic venture at my camera club. Apparently white balance is difficult because it is such different light. Perhaps something like a Color Passport Checker is useful.
