Oh that sucks. We had a similar thing happen in Calgary a few springs ago when a big wind knocked over several fir trees.

It does suck, but at least no one got hurt or their living room caved in. Maybe they'll plant something interesting in the spring.

That's quite a tree to tip over , particularity with the roots uplifted like that.

For whats its worth I can sympathise. I have the spent the past 3 days removing a neighbors tree that fell in my back yard after storm last Friday
